10 seeds per pack. A subtropical fruit, fairly closely related to the quince and pear. Bears edible fruits, which look a little bit like small apples. It is commercially grown on a small scale in parts of India, Vietnam and neighboring countries. The fruits are often eaten when half ripe and are used in the production of juices, wines, syrups and more. Small tree to 13 ft / 4 m. Naturally grows at mid elevation regions around 2000 m in the Himalayan mountains. Likely shows some frost tolerance to the 20's (F). #4598
