8 seeds per pack. An edible fruiting tree, native to southern and eastern Africa. It bears elongated, fleshy, dark red fruits about an inch long, with a sweet flavored pulp. Fruits are harvested from wild growing trees for food, and the tree is also used in woodworking. Bushy growth to 15-30 ft (4 - 10 m). Unknown frost tolerance, but may be suitable for subtropical regions. Likely has some tolerance of arid conditions. #4623
