An exquisitely unique Eugenia from Brazil, bearing small, fuzzy green fruits that are said to have taste illusions to the avocado. Native to cerrado forests in central Brazil, it is a very low-lying bush, growing to only 1-2 feet / 0.5 m, with numerous shoots coming from its underground root system. Unknown hardiness, but given its native range, possible cold tolerance to 32F. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5221
