Musa coccinea - Scarlet Banana

5 seeds per pack. An ornamental banana, cultivated for its bright red flowers which look a bit like a ginger or costus. A dwarf species, it typically grows to 1-2 m (3-6 ft). Fruits are tiny, orange colored and not edible. One of the better ornamental bananas, also shows reasonable cold tolerance, surviving light frosts and cool winters. #3567
