It bears small, blue-violet colored fruits, with a thin skin and juicy flesh that reportedly has a very sweet flavor. Growth habit is shrubby, similar to the Jaboticaba, up to 6 ft / 2 m. Very ornamental and unknown in cultivation. Unknown frost hardiness. #5355
