Shipping Options and Information
There are three shipping options: Economy, Priority and Express. We strongly recommend choosing express or priority mail shipping, particularly for shorter viability seeds. Tracking numbers are available with all shipping options for United States addresses.
Economy: Standard domestic economy shipping is FREE on orders of $30.00 or more! We use regular U.S. Postal Service for standard shipping. Please keep in mind that postal delivery time can vary widely, in rare cases taking as long as 2-3 weeks. If you select standard shipping and your package hasn't arrived by three weeks, please contact us. We strongly recommend selecting priority or express shipping, particularly for short-viability seeds.
Priority: Priority shipping generally takes 2-3 days from pickup time. Orders are often filled within 24-48 hours, but please note this is delivery speed only, orders may take longer to be filled.
Express: Express mail shipping is typically overnight delivery from pickup time. Orders are often filled within 24-48 hours, but please note this is delivery speed only, orders may take longer to be filled.
All shipping options are available on checkout. You will be sent an e-mail when your order is shipped.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses: Make sure to verify your shipping address when placing your order. If you are unsure for any reasons about the shipping address submitted to us, please send an e-mail when placing your order to service@tradewindsfruit.com, with your correct shipping address. Please note that once an order is shipped to changes can be made to the shipping address. If the address is incorrect or invalid, please contact the United States Postal Service to have the package rerouted. We can only reship orders once the original package has been returned to us in full and this often takes several weeks or months.
Ordering
1. Order with a credit card using our online shopping cart. Just click "add to cart" next to any item(s) you would like to purchase from any of our order pages. Click on 'checkout' or 'shopping cart' to proceed to checkout. We accept payment for online orders using all major credit cards. If you are a PayPal member you can also pay using PayPal. Select the PayPal option when you begin checkout. You can also e-mail your online order. In the e-mail, make sure to include items you would like to purchase, billing and shipping information.
2. Order by mail. We accept only credit cards or U.S. cash for mail orders. We do not accept personal checks or money orders. Use our online mail order form, or write down your order and send it in to us at:

3. **Very important** If you are paying by PayPal and you are a previous PayPal or EBay user and may already have an account with PayPal, please make sure to verify your shipping address. PayPal will automatically override your shipping address with your PayPal or EBay billing address stored on file, so verify that this is current. Alternatively you can e-mail us updated shipping addresses with your order or include an updated shipping address as a note with your order.

Non-United States (international) Customers

For international shipments to most countries, tracking numbers are only available with the express mail shipping option. Tracking numbers are not available with the priority mail or standard mail shipping option to non United States addresses in most countries. Tracking information is available for all shipments when within the United States. Tracking information is available on all shipments for destinations in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom. Please note that standard or priority shipping is done as-is, at the buyers risk. We cannot replace lost packages when shipped by standard or priority international mail.
International shipping is strictly as-is. All purchases and shipments are at the buyers risk. Shipping times outside of the United States can vary widely. Priority and express mail shipping may still take several weeks to certain parts of the world. There are no shipping time guarantees to non-United States addresses.
Unfortunately we do not offer phytosanitary certificates at this time.
We recommend choosing express or priority mail shipping for international orders when ordering short or limited viability tropical seeds. Seeds marked as short/limited viability or marked as plant immediately may have a limited shelf life. We will not be held liable for seed viability loss due to shipping times for international standard mail shipping. In addition, such seeds could be subject to stricter import regulations in certain countries.
Allow up to several weeks for international delivery to some countries. Local postal service speeds as well as customs clearance times can vary widely and are not always predictable.
We do not currently accept mail orders.

Shipping
There is a $10.00 minimum order for international destinations. See the chart below for international shipping charges. We use regular U.S. Postal Service airmail for shipping. Please keep in mind that postal delivery time to international designations can vary widely. Typical in-transit times are 1-3 weeks to Western Europe, Canada and Mexico, and 2-6 weeks to anywhere else in the world.
Important Note: By placing an order, you are taking full responsibility for importation of seeds into your home country and releasing Trade Winds Fruit from any liability related to shipments in-transit. Some countries, e.g. Australia, have strict regulations on which seeds are allowed to be imported. It is up to the buyer to obtain any necessary permits or documentation necessary for importation. Trade Winds Fruit is not responsible and there are no refunds for any loss of seed due to importation difficulties. While we do not anticipate any reduced viability or quality, seeds to destinations outside of the United States are sold AS-IS.

Australia & New Zealand Customers Only
Australia and New Zealand have strict quarantine regulations on a number of common garden seeds. Among others, tomato, coffee and corn seeds are not able to be shipped to Australia or New Zealand. Do not order seeds listed as 'short viability', as they are packed with vermiculite or coco coir, which may not be allowed import. For more information about allowable seeds:

Examples of seeds NOT PERMITTED import into New Zealand include Cucumber, Beans, Peas, Melons, Beets, Pumpkin, Squash, Tomatoes, Peppers, Guava, Jaboticaba, to list just a few.
Make sure you are only ordering seeds that are permitted import into Australia or New Zealand as seeds that violate customs regulations will be confiscated and are not eligible for refunds. In addition, we are not able to provide phytosanitary certificates at this time.

Terms of Business
Trade Winds Fruit LLC is committed to providing our customers some of the most difficult to find and exotic seeds fresh from harvest. We do not store seeds for excessive amounts of time and will send limited-viability seeds undried. We periodically test our seed stock and can attest to germination as we cultivate many of the plants ourselves from our own seeds. We do not send old seeds, known non-viable seeds, nor substitute seed selections under any circumstance without your prior approval. Our seeds have excellent germination records and we are proud to maintain high standards in seed viability and selections. All seeds are for planting purposes only, and should not be consumed. We identify all plants and seeds to the absolute best of our abilities and take great care to make sure both species and varieties are sourced and identified correctly. However, some species are similar in appearance and nature, and Trade Winds Fruit does not make any guarantee or hold any liability if germinated seeds show production, genotypic, or phenotypic differences from parent sources. Many of our seeds, including vegetables, tomatoes, peppers, and others, are open-pollinated and as such, cross-pollination may sometimes occur. Therefore, resulting plants and/or fruits can occasionally show differences from parent plants and/or fruits. We offer no explicit warranty on any seeds but in most cases are happy to work with customers or provide replacements for seeds suspected of non-viability. Liability is always limited to the purchase price of the seeds only. In no event shall Trade Winds Fruit be liable for consequential damages, regardless of the nature, the cause, or the extent of loss. As pursuant to California law, in any unresolved dispute regarding the ability of seeds to perform as advertised, seed buyers & sellers are first required to participate in a mandatory dispute resolution process administered by the California Department of Agriculture. Your satisfaction is very important to us. Many tropical seeds have widely varying germination times.
