1 seed per pack. Native to the hills in Brazil's Atlantic forest region, this interesting Strawberry Guava relative holds a lot of promise as a hardy, yet rare subtropical. Bears red fruits that are similar to the Strawberry Guava, but with a somewhat different and tasty flavor, having acidic tones of citrus. A shrubby tree, it is notable for its cold tolerance, which appears to be similar to Psidium cattleianum, with mature specimens surviving to several degrees below freezing. Also an excellent candidate for container culture. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5641
