4 seeds per pack. A Blackberry Jam Fruit relative, native to southern Mexico and Central America. Seeds are from wild growing plants in the Yucutan region. The species is not certain, but may be R. armata. Fruits are small, ripen to yellow, with deep black-brown colored pulp, similar in overall appearance to Randia formosa. Shrubby, deciduous growth to 10-30 ft / 3-10 m. Found naturally in wet and dry forests. Some reports suggest this species could be dioecious. Unknown frost tolerance. #5274
