The fruits have a soft pulp, with a creamy, pineapple-like flavor. The leaves and flowers are also eaten and the tree has a number of uses in both medicine and industry. A shrubby tree to 5-15 ft. Unknown hardiness. Native to western and southern Africa. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #3015
