Artocarpus dadah - Green Tampang Seeds

A close relative of the Lakoocha, this edible and lesser grown Artocarpus hails from the tropical jungles of Malaysia and Indonesia. Fruits are rounded to heart shaped, roughly the size of a very large egg, with yellow-tan colored skin and bright pink pulp. They have an acidic flavor and are most commonly harvested from wild trees for local consumption. Deciduous growth to 35 m / 115 ft. Not frost tolerant. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5455
