Baccaurea angulata var globulus - Blood Star Fruit

1 seed per pack. Seeds are from the 'globulus' subspecies, having darker red colored fruits. An extremely rare fruit from the jungles of Borneo, rarely seen anywhere else in the world. The fruits are red, with a neon sheen and grow to around the size of a golf ball. Flesh is translucent white, with a sweet and sour flavor. One of a number of Baccaurea species from the southeast Asian rain forests. Fast-growing tree, needs tropical conditions for growth. #5415
