5 seeds per pack. A semi-deciduous, shrubby tree, native to southern and eastern Africa. It bears an edible, oval shaped, yellow colored fruit that looks much like a date. Flavor is said to be sweet, and high in both sugar and vitamin C. Naturally occurs in drier, subtropical areas, and shows drought tolerance, but will not stand hard frosts.
