4 seeds per pack. A highly intriguing member of the Papaya family naturally growing the furthest south of any known wild papaya population. Bears good sized, tasty, edible yellow fruits that have similarities to the Mountain Papaya. However, this is a distinct and extraordinarily rare species with great potential for some frost tolerance. While many papaya's are strictly tropical, this species is at home in cool coastal climates and mid-mountain elevations. Herbaceous growth habit similar to the common papaya. Native to Chile. #4326 Out of stock. Last available: 2/22/2019 - 8/9/2020
