Description
Slow growing tree to 80ft.
Hardiness
It grows best in tropical regions, but can survive brief temperature drops to the 30's.
Growing Environment
It is drought tolerant and grows in seaside climates. Trees are both male, female, and hermaphroditic.
Propagation
By seed, although better selections are air layered.
Uses
Usually eaten fresh.

Native to Central and South America, and the Caribbean.Ê
