San Francisco Wallflower
Erysimum franciscanum
Very pretty flowering annual native to coastal areas around San Francisco. This wallflower is very rare and is endangered in the wild. Pretty bright yellow flower stalks bloom from spring to early summer. It grows wild on dunes, coastal bluffs, and clear hillsides near the ocean.

Hardiness
Annual. Not frost hardy, will reseed in areas of frost.
Growing Environment

A very uncommon but pretty ornamental.
Native Range
California, native range includes coastal hills in Sonoma, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties. May also extend to Santa Cruz.
