Description
Small tree, often to only 10-12ft, but will reach 25-30ft.

Hardy to about 10F.
Growing Environment
It is adapted well to dry climates and needs only minimal water when established. Will grow in most soil types, and does well in both full sun and part shade. Usually needs little attention once established.
Propagation
By seed. By hardwood cuttings.
Uses
The plant is commonly grown as an ornamental. Its bright, canary-yellow flowers last for several months of the year and make this an attractive tree for any garden.

Native to Central and South America.
