1 seed per pack. A lesser known Annonaceae from the savanna regions of Bolivia and Paraguay. Bears a medium to fairly large, brown-red colored fruit with edible, sweet and creamy, orange colored pulp. Some have likened the flavor and consistency to that of sweet carrot cake. Short, shrubby tree, to 6+ ft / 2 m. Unknown frost tolerance, but given its natural range, it may tolerate subtropical climates. #5240
