The fruits are small by durian perspective, reaching only 1-2 pounds (1 kg), but contain creamy flesh, with a mild fruity flavor that lacks the (sometimes off-putting) durian aroma. Quite sweet and difficult to find. The fruits are sometimes gathered wild in its native range, but the tree is generally not cultivated. Large tree.
