The small, berry-like fruits are bright red in color, with glossy skin and a juicy, sweet flavor that is used in beverages and desserts. Can also be eaten fresh. Semi-deciduous. Native to northern portions of South America, from Peru, through Colombia and Brazil. Unknown cold tolerance. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5457
