Ferocactus viridescens - San Diego Barrel Cactus

10 seeds per pack. A rare barrel cactus, found wild only in coastal San Diego county, California, as well as near the coastal border region of Mexico. Mature plants are spherical, growing to 30", which prominent spines. Ornamental, yellow flowers are followed by flesh, yellow fruits. It is unknown if the fruits are edible. Adapted to both coastal and inland, dry conditions with minimal or short frosts. #5320
