5 seeds per pack. One of several Raisin Bush species, native to tropical Africa and Asia. The small, sticky fruits are edible, with a very nice and sweet flavor resembling a raisin. Deciduous, shrubby growth to 1-4 m. Also features ornamental, multi colored, orange and yellow flowers. Does very well in drier, warm climates though it likely tolerates short frosts. Flowers can be dioecious, so in some cases, both male and female plants can be needed for fruit production. #5305
