10 seeds per pack. An interesting and less common Kadsura species, related to the Schisandra. It is an evergreen, climbing shrub, with small and attractive cream to yellow colored flowers with bright red centers. The flowers are followed by an aggregate fruit, with dozens of small red "fruits" packed together in a clump. The fruit is reportedly edible and the plant has a number of other medicinal and practical uses. Grows to 8-12 ft / 3-4 m. Monoecious, so both male and female plants are needed to bear fruits. Stretching the definition of a 'tropical' fruit, this species is hardy to zone 7 and does well in cooler areas with some frosts. #4883
