Mimusops balata - Ausubo Seeds

1 seed per pack. a.k.a. Manilkara bidentata. Round, smooth, yellow skinned fruit about two inches across. Flesh is yellow, with a consistency much like the canistel. Fruit sometimes has a nice flavor and the tree is also an important timber species. When in full fruit, the tree is quite attractive, with numerous bunches of the yellow fruits adorning its branches. Will stand brief frosts, seems to grow fine in subtropical (and tropical) areas. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #632
