Also known as Bilberry cactus, its name is derived from its edible, small, dark blue-purple fruits which are sold in parts of Mexico as 'Garambullos'. Fruits have a mild, sweet flavor and are eaten fresh or dried like raisins. Columnar growth, with branching, to 15 ft / 5 m. Hardy to around 25F. #4659
