Pachira aquatica - Guiana Chestnut

1 seed per pack. Huge, football sized, brown-woody fruit containing large (2-4"), fleshy seeds that can be eaten raw or cooked. Seeds have a flavor resembling a peanut. The tree is also commonly grown as an ornamental for its large, multi-colored flowers that bloom for many months of the year. Not to be confused with the small fruited P.glabra. #753
