Uncommon, screw pine species native to tropical Australia. Shore loving shrubby tree with long, pretty leaves native to Indonesia and Pacific Islands. Fruit is segmented, and looks much like a pineapple when still on the tree. Fruits tend to be larger than those of P. tectorius. Loves salt spray and salty soils, unknown hardiness but probably frost tender. #931 Out of stock. Last available: 2008
