Physalis arborescens - Tree Physalis

The leaves and buds are covered in small hairs. Yields small, red-orange fruits that are similar in appearance to ground cherries. Information about this species is scarce, but the fruits could be edible. Grows naturally in seasonally dry wooded areas near Central America. #4607
