Psidium cattleianum - Red Strawberry Guava

Flesh is translucent, juicy, and not mealy like the tropical guava, with a tasty acidic-strawberry flavor. Very easy to grow as a container specimen. Will fruit in areas with frost, the strawberry guava is hardy to 22F. Very weedy in Hawaii and similar climates. #122
