Fruits are strawberry guava sized, dark purple in color, with white flesh having a mild, acidic grape or jaboticaba-like flavor. Quality is variable, with some specimens quite flavorful, others with hints of bitterness. Previously listed as Marlieria sp. Can be container grown. #601
