It is usually grown as an ornamental, with a majestic appearance when full grown, having wide-spreading roots and a large canopy. Grows up to 100 ft / 31 m. Hardy to zone 7. Bears long strands of winged nut-like fruits. Some sources say the nuts could be edible, but they are small. #314
