Strychnos madagascariensis - Black Monkey Orange Seeds

4 seeds per pack. A hard shelled, round fruit ripening to yellow orange, with edible flesh. Both the flesh and the dried seeds are enjoyed by people in its native range. Small tree to 10-25 feet, probably not frost hardy. Very uncommon and native to southern Africa. Also note that this species is a near relative of several species which contain poisonous alkaloids such as strychnine, usually found in the seeds or various plant parts.
