8 seeds per pack. One of the exotic Bat Flowers, but best known as a canoe plant, whose tubers became an important food source in Polynesia. The tubers can be processed into a variety of flours and puddings and historically were used as the base for a number of staples. Clumping, herbaceous-like growth to several feet, with large, multi-lobed leaves and unique flowers, having very long petioles. The starchy tubers are round and potato-like. Grows well in most tropical regions. #5338
