10 seeds per pack. a.ka. helo kau l au. A very rare Hawaiian berry, related to the common blueberry. This species grows on all the main islands and is generally found at somewhat lower elevations than the Ohelo berry. Shrubby, upright growth to 5-6 feet with much large leaves than V. reticulatum. Bears red ripening, edible fruits with a mildly sweet flavor. Likely not very frost hardy, but may grow well in tropical and cooler subtropical climates.
