4 seeds per pack. An attractive evergreen tree that is native to New Zealand. A fast-growing tree, it has historically been used for its valuable timber, along with traditional medicinal uses. The fruits may be marginally edible, though not well flavored. Also makes a nice ornamental, owing to its lush foliage, and brightly colored, pink to purple fruits. Grows well in cooler subtropical zones. Hardy to some light frosts. #873
