1 seed per pack. A relatively unknown member of the custard apple family, with good-sized fruits that can reach a few inches in length. Ripe fruits look roughly like a smoother version of a cherimoya, with pale green skin and a more elongated shape. Flesh is creamy, orange colored, with an acidic-sweet flavor and much potential for wider commercial adoption. Slow growing, up to 10 m / 33 ft. Found naturally in seasonally dry forest regions of northeastern Brazil, so this species may withstand some drought once established. Likely minimal frost tolerance. The seeds can be difficult and slow to germinate. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5464
