(Solanum aethipoicum) 15 seeds per pack. Formerly Solanum gilo. A wonderful ornamental eggplant with bright red, round to egg shaped fruits, contrasted with dark, black stems. Grows to a few feet. Popular with florists as an ornamental, the branches with ripe fruits are cut for arrangements. Note that this variety is not the same as the mini-pumpkin florist eggplant. The green fruits of the parent species are used in Africa as a vegetable, so they may be edible. #3469
