5 seeds per pack. A wild papaya that is extremely uncommon outside of its native Andean valley range. Bears slender, edible fruits that are generally eaten cooked or used in preserves. Naturally adapted to a drier and cooler climate, this species is little known and makes an excellent candidate for cooler subtropical areas. It is also surprisingly drought tolerant. May stand short frosts. From Northern Chile. #3927 Out of stock. Last available: 9/1/2017 - 2/24/2020
