5 seeds per pack. A fast-growing, wild papaya from the rainforests of Central America. Fruits are medium sized, ripen to yellow, with white, edible pulp. They are collected from the wild and used in desserts, candies, preserves and as a flavoring. Has large, ornamental leaves that have a passing resemblance to maple. Slender growth to 12 ft / 4 m. Unknown frost tolerance, but is likely cool hardy like a number of the wild papaya's. #4551
