Chrysophyllum oliviforme - Satin Leaf Tree

2 seeds per pack. A prolific tropical tree, native throughout much of the Caribbean region. Bears slender fruits that somewhat resemble an olive fruit. The fruits are edible, but have a white latex filled, gummy skin. The tree is most commonly planted as an ornamental, for its attractive foliage which is golden colored on the undersides of leaves. Medium to large sized tree up to 30 feet. Hardy to very light and brief frosts. #3059
