Has a number of similarities to the Red Hybrid Jaboticaba, although this variety may be an even faster grower, with some trees fruiting in as little as 3-4 years from seed. Fruits are on the larger size for a jaboticaba and ripen to a scarlet red. Flavor is very sweet and quite good. Similar growth habit and requirements to the standard jaboticaba. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #4628
