4 seeds per pack. A borderline subtropical Prunus species, native to chaparral and scrubland areas in southern California and south into Mexico. It bears small fruits that ripen to orange and look like mini-apricots. Edibility is unknown, though the fruits are very popular with wildlife. A small, shrubby tree to 8-10 ft / 3 m.
