Psidium sp. hians - Yellow Guava Seeds

A lesser known wild guava, with small fruits that somewhat resemble the Yellow Strawberry Guava, ripening to a green tinted yellow. Flavor is sweet, with sour undertones and the fruits are perfect for eating fresh or for use as flavorings in beverages and desserts. Small to medium sized tree up to 6 m. Does well in tropical and subtropical environments and may show some potential for mild cool weather tolerance and very short frosts. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5643
