Seeds are from a yellow-skinned variety originally from Australia. Skin is yellow with red splotches, pulp is pink-red, good flavored. Can be eaten fresh, but is sometimes juiced or used in making preserves. The juice can also act as a dye. Trees withstand intense heat, drought, and cold temperatures as low as 15F. #742
