1 seed per pack. Please note: the seeds in this batch are beginning to germinate. Seeds are from the rare Nacional variety, one of the earliest and most coveted of the chocolates. Also note that the vast majority of Nacional trees have some cross pollination genetics from other types. The cacao tree is the source of the famous and delicious cocoa bean (the foundation of chocolate). This small tropical tree rarely exceeds 10-15 feet in height and bears large fruits with edible white pulp that inside contain the cocoa beans. Trees need tropical conditions with high humidity and cannot survive temperatures below 50F for long periods of time. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #4805
