Also note that the vast majority of Nacional trees have some cross pollination genetics from other types. The cacao tree is the source of the famous and delicious cocoa bean (the foundation of chocolate). This small tropical tree rarely exceeds 10-15 feet in height and bears large fruits with edible white pulp that inside contain the cocoa beans.
