Eugenia cerasiflora - Cherry Pitanga Seeds

Sweetly flavored, jelly-like pulp is used in desserts and preserves. Native to semi-deciduous forests in the southern Atlantic Forest region of Brazil. Shrubby growth to 4-10 m / 13-33 ft. Could show some tolerance of cooler temperatures, but should probably be protected from freezes. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5466
