Juniperus californica - California Juniper

5 seeds per pack. A uniquely attractive and aromatic shrubby tree, native to the Pacific coastline, mostly in California, but south to Baja. One of a number of juniper species, it is most popularly planted as an ornamental and for bonsai. The berries are edible and had a variety of uses amongst native peoples. Grows to 10-30 ft / 10 m. Drought tolerant and freeze hardy to zone 8. Mostly dioecious. Slow to germinate. #3887
