Myrciaria tenella Vermelho - Vermelho Myrciaria Seeds

1 seed per pack. Seeds are from a red fruited shrub, believed to be M. tenella, or at least very similar to. Fruits are small, round, with thin, eye-catching, translucent red skin and a tasty acid-sweet flavor. Naturally grows in a coastal (restinga) forest region of Brazil, so the species is adapted well to sandy conditions. Compact, shrubby and ornamental growth to several feet high. May show some tolerance of cooler, but frost free climates, similar to standard M. tenella. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5470
