Shows some similarities to Eugenia pyriformis. The fleshy fruits ripen to a golden orange. Shrubby tree to 10 m / 33 ft. Does well in tropical climates, but may also be suitable for subtropical zones, with possible light frost tolerance. Highly ornamental when flowering and fruiting. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #5668
