The tree seems to be somewhat hardy and able to survive brief temperature drops to the 30's.
Growing Environment
Cultivation information is limited. It does succeed outdoors in Southern California, but generally doesn't grow very tall. Will grow in sun or shade.

Uses
The dried flowers are used as a flavoring for chocolate drinks and a variety of other things. Flowers are also used to produce perfume.
