Black Futsu Pumpkin
Cucurbita moschata
a.k.a. Black Futzu Squash
A rare and unique Japanese pumpkin/squash with 3-5 pound fruits that develop a characteristic and exotic, wrinkled deep green/black skin. Fruits eventually ripen to a warm orange-brown. Flesh is orange, firm, and with a great nutty flavor.
